Discover the fascinating world of honey bees by enrolling in Toe Cane Beekeepers’ Beginning Beekeeping School.
In one short weekend, you can become a “Certified Beekeeper,” and you’ll learn how to set up a new hive, care for a healthy colony, explore the incredible society of honey bees and understand the vital role honey bees play in pollination
and our environment.
The bee school is taught by a NCSBA Master Beekeeper and will be held at the NC Cooperative Extension office, 30 E US 19E,Burnsville at 7 p.m. on February 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday the 7th , and concludes 1 to 4 p.m. on
Sunday the 8th. Seating is limited and class may sell out.
Graduates who pass the written exam and a subsequent hands-on practical test will become North Carolina State Beekeepers Association (NCSBA) Certified Beekeepers.
